MCLA Minutes - December 19, 2006

The Board of MCLA met on December 19, 2006 at 8:00 a.m. at the office of Harry Baumohl. In attendance were Ali Doyle, Stacy Anderson, Mary Stengel, Michael Freilich, Michael Mastracci (by telephone) and Harry Baumohl.

1. Michael Mastracci will test the capabilities for an internet based conference call for possible use in future meetings.
2. Michael Mastracci will provide the labels for Michael Freilich for mailing the remaining restaurant gift certificates for attendees at the holiday party.
3. It was decided for now to keep meetings on Tuesdays. We can discuss this at future meetings.
4. The next meeting will be on WEDNESDAY, December 27, 2006 at Michael Freilich's office.
5. Michael M. will continue to work on obtaining a locker/luggage for storage of MCLA items.
6. A final decision whether to hold the Spring collaborative law training with Stu Webb will be made at the next meeting.
7. Harry, Michael and Jim met once and plan to meet again about a plan for PR for the group. We've invited Stacy to join us for the next meeting.
8. Discussion was held about a possible dinner/cocktail hour in January or February to intriue and introduce local Baltimore area professionals into a training session for CL.
9. The next library presentation is scheduled for December 21, 2006 to be handled by Susan L. and Meg Attanasio.
10. There was consideration of a lower cost membership structure for mental health professionals. This will be considered at a future meeting.
11. Open MCLA matters also include the data collection form, nomination of a Secretary and the contact information on the MCLA website.
