MCLA Minutes - August 22, 2007

1. The August 22, 2007 meeting of the MCLA Board commenced at approximately 5:30 p.m.
2. In attendance:
   Paul Dorf
   Ali Dansker Doyle
   Marc Baer
   Jim Motsay
   Mike Mastracci
   Stacey Andersen
   Mary Stengel
3. The following agenda topics were discussed:
   
   1. The Board voted to reduce dues, beginning now and through the end of 2008 for new members. No reimbursement to those who have already paid for the year.
   2. Training in October: 24 people have signed up. Board members still making the effort to recruit more trainees. Thirty more people needed for the training.
   3. Advertising: Stacey has gathered rates for various print media sources and the Billboard. Board authorized $10,000.00 to be spent on advertising in these various sources.
   4. Next meeting to take place on 9/11/2007 at Panera, thereafter the meeting will take place at Harry’s office.
   5. Crab feast to follow this Board meeting and members to encourage those not trained to sign up for the training.
