Harry has been in contact with Liz Ferris. We believe it may be beneficial to sponsor a workshop with her in mid to late April. We can probably draw a wide audience (i.e. Montgomery Co), and offer a discount to MCLA members. The location would be in Balto metro area.
Carol Craig had signed up for the advanced training. She also attended Friday's initial training. We decided to charge her $100.00 for Friday's attendance, which covered her food, materials, and a contribution towards the hotel charges. Harry will send out an invoice.
January, 2006-Ali will finalize the restaurant, and send out invitations. Ali--do you need any help?
Michael needs a list of those who attended the November training. We need to do a follow-up email to hopeful recruit new members, and to invite to the January function.
Michael suggested that we consider putting out flyers aimed at potential clients, and hold a informational meeting 1 evening each month (we can rent the conference room at Michael's office building). Besides the benefit of potential clients, it would also help secure our position if Mr. Hirschman or the IRS wants to look into MCLA.
Public awareness-we really need to get moving on this aspect, as it relates to possible referral sources. Harry will again try to get Harvey motivated and on board.
Practice groups-We need to offer opportunities for the membership not only to interact with each other, but also to improve skills. It was suggested that we look into scheduling a group meeting and discuss a topic. A possible topic for the first meeting is how to sell CL to clients. We can use the video of Sherri's consultation with Harry.
